* * *JOB TITLE: SAN ADMIN*** Location: Kansas City Duration: 6 months Rate: $42 hr. Typically over 5 years of experience. Known as an expert in the field of storage area networking. Leads and coordinates the operational support and implementation activities for Storage Area Network(SAN) service offerings encompassing heterogeneous platforms. Typical activities: Provision SAN as well as provide support. Analysis requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues using ECC software. Provision Zones within SAN Fabric and ensures software currency on the SAN arrays and switches. EMC, CISCO and HDS a plus. Work with a dynamic team of System Engineers to provision SAN and provision Zones within the SAN fabric. Complete projects and daily requests upon request. Experience with NAS, EMC, VTL and HDS SAN arrays as well as Cisco switches. Willing to work off hours and weekends as required.
