Sr. Application Engineer-MOSS/SharePoint Jersey City, NJ Long term Position description: * Coding, implementation, testing, administration and maintenance of SharePoint (MOSS 2007) sites * Custom application development in support of large collaboration/installation projects utilizing SharePoint (MOSS 2007) technologies * Develop and maintain custom components for web-based, content management products that enable seamless functionality between SharePoint Portal Server 2003/2007 (MOSS 2007) and MS Office * Design, develop, and implement web-enabled applications using .Net, C#, VB.Net and other Microsoft based technologies. * Responsible for estimating, creating, and meeting the timeline of the development of release. * Work with end users to collect, analyze and evaluate business requirements. * Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test, user acceptance test, and implementation plans for small to complex projects. * Provide production support for assigned systems. * Perform quality assurance duties as requested. Test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Create and execute test plans.
