Design and develop logical and physical models of existing or proposed DB2 tables, . Analyzes application requirements and operations, . Perform SQL analysis, . Provide security structure, . Provide backup/recovery processes, . Develop and optimize triggers and stored procedures, . Develop and use DB2 utilities, . Performance and monitoring of DB2 subsystems, . Providing 24 x 7 DB2 on call support. REQUIREMENTS . Strong knowledge of the development and deployment of enterprise-wide databases and related systems. . Strong skills in data modeling, physical database design and logic. . Five years experience with database administration on DB2, including certification as an IBM Certified DB2 Database Administrator. . Four years experience with COBOL development .
