Title                 : Linux Build/Release Engineer

Location          : Dallas, TX

Duration          : 6-12+ Month Contract

 

The manager needs someone with strong Linux skills and experience using Shell 
Scripting to automate the build/release process.

 

Job Description:

Development of test software and scripts to drive the automation of both the 
test equipment and the target system to be tested.  The target system will be a 
software development platform running a chip with handset software. This will 
be running Linux (Android or Ubuntu).

 

Required Skills:

·         Strong hands on Linux skills (similar to a Linux Admin)

·         Strong scripting & automation experience, especially shell scripting

·         SCM and Build/Release experience

·         Good software debug skills

 

Additional Skills:

·         Open source experience is preferred
