*Rate: $45/HR on C2C* *Duration: 6 months* *Requires at least 10 years in a senior QA leadership role* *Primary Skill Requirement: * Analytical, communication and planning *Project Description:* Test Architect The Test Architect holds the following responsibilities: Master test plan development:, Overall scenario framework covering all test phases, Test execution strategy (phases, cycles), Test scope determination (functionality & features to be tested). and Test timeline & resourcing. Coordinates and manages overall test execution. Provides guidance and requirements on environment needs. Provides guidance and requirements on test data needs. Coordinates communication and testing activities across multiple platforms / systems when necessary for testing effort. Coordinates communication and testing activities related to unit test, UAT, and performance test. Responsible for providing leadership in the design/development of product testing/quality processes and in developing testing architecture equal to that of commercial quality software. Communicates the return on investment and value derived from establishing automation platforms and mentors staff in testing and product quality processes. Leads the establishment of quality architecture as business and technical conditions change to assure quality and defines, monitors and collects testing/product quality data. Communicates to executives the resource and process needs to ensure quality in functional features, performance and service requirements/components. Establishes new and improved testing methods to improve overall quality processes and delivery of quality products. Ensures a team review of defects in assessing product quality and a facilitated review of applications for testing needs and requirements/design quality. Consults to executives and business leaders regarding testing and quality. May participate in the transition of software and systems into production. Plans, prepares and executes test assets and executes linkage from test plan to test scenarios and cases. *Skills:* Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems 9 years of testing/product quality experience and a quality certification within one year of job placement and prior to moving to the next job level; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires an understanding of organizational impacts and trade-offs of quality processes.
