Job Title: UNIX System Administrator Location: Greensboro, NC Duration: 3-4 months Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required: ? Knowledge in systems administration and networks in a widely diverse environment (which includes servers, terminals, workstations and printers). ? Knowledge of Digital, SUN, personal computer hardware platforms. ? Knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols. ? Current expertise in Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux administration. ? Technical Knowledge of SAN infrastructure. ? Ability to write and speak effectively ? Experience with SUN Solaris type of hardware ? Formal training in UNIX/LINUX, DOS, Windows. ? Hands on system maintenance experience. ? Network hardware experience working with fiber, coaxial, and copper twisted pair wiring and CABLETRON, SMC, 3COM, CISCO networking hardware. ? Must be at expert level skill in programming using PERL ?
