*Duration :* 3 months

Ideally need a Sr. Data warehouse DBA with extensive experience supporting
multi-terabyte data warehouses on Oracle 10g.
The resource must have experience in Oracle database functions to support BI
such as materialized views, partitioning, query performance tuning, virtual
private database, etc.
*5.Internet Web Engineer*
*Time Frame****:  *Position to begin effective 07/1/2010; not to exceed
twelve (12) calendar months; estimated termination date for this period of
June 30, 2011.

*SKILLS REQUIRED:*

An associate degree in computer science and five years experience in new
computer systems development or a bachelor’s degree in  business
administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, management
information science and five years experience in  new computer systems
development.  Thorough knowledge of the Internet applications environment in
the context of a large multi-platform enterprise, including operating
systems, application development tools, graphical user interface (GUI)
design, database design, security procedures, and performance
considerations. Experience in the Microsoft .Net Framework and C# language,
SQL Server database, and web services (SOAP and XML) technology
required.  Thorough
knowledge of and experience in techniques for computer systems development,
including hardware and software, development languages and file and database
structures across multiple platforms.  Possess the ability to deal
effectively with the needs of technical peers, technical and user
management, users, vendors, and staff members, and to communicate clearly
and effectively in spoken and written form.

   - Extensive knowledge of the support and implementation of Software AG
   products in IBM z/OS environment required.
   - Ability to monitor and tune databases to gain operating efficiency and

   physical descriptions, standards and security
   - Ability to provide assistance to database administrators of other state
   agencies utilizing the shared environment provided by DSIT
   - Ability to assist with the development of data standards and the design
