*Application Support Specialist * *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 12 months** * *Job Description:* ** This consulting position will provide day to day support of trading applications in a support role Linux/UNIX skill set. The requirements are as follows: The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in direct support or development of UNIX applications, administration, or infrastructure. Ideally the candidate would have hands-on experience with 3rd party agent based software (i.e. HP OVO, UC4). Candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to communicate well across multiple departments is required to facilitate problem resolution and escalation of environment issues. Qualified candidates must be a quick learner and self sufficient. This candidate will have worked in a fast paced dynamic environment which requires excellent customer service skills.
