BEx has a Web-based user interface and is made up of two components, the BEx browser and the BEx analyzer.) Responsible for ensuring that the most current and most appropriate technologies are integrated into the organization. Responsible for setting the standards for new software applications. Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues. Work assignments are typically focused on critical products for the organization. Works independently and will likely supervise the work of lower level personnel. Education: BS and 10 + years or equivalent. Capabilities: 1)Expert knowledge of all phases of software development - BEx 7.0 2) Knowledge of emerging technologies 3) Knowledge of company's business requirements and standards. Works with a long-term perspective in addressing customer problems. Identifies and acts on ways to streamline resources to make things better for the customer. May trade off immediate costs for the sake of the long-term relationship. Seeks to add value and looks for the long-term benefits for the customer.
