*UMTS Performance Engineers* Location: NJ/NY Duration: 6 months renewable Rate:40$ Over 2.5 years of relevant experience in UMTS RF optimization. WCDMA/HSPA air interface dimensioning, link budget analysis. Experience in optimizing CS and PS traffic. In depth knowledge of coverage and capacity tradeoffs, interference mitigations. In depth knowledge of WCDMA/HSPA parameter settings. Experience in collecting and analyzing drive test data. In depth experience with L3 messages analysis. Experience with UTRAN features. Knowledge of protocol flow on: Iub, Iur, Ius, Gb, etc.. Experience with ACP tools, model tuning, 3G data collection and post processing tools. Thorough understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by operators. Working experience of optimizing the network to improve KPIs. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
