LOOKING for Information Security Analyst in Melville, New York. Below are
the specifics of the requirement. If the candidate is not local the manager
will hire off of a phone screen.
Candidates will be required to pass a 7 year background check and drug
screen.
Information Security Analyst
CISSP Candidates Preferred
Focus is on conducting technical web-application security assessments
Experience with Appscan desired.
Candidates should be interested in potentially converting to full-time
status at the end of the consulting engagement.
Maintains integrity and confidentiality of client information by ensuring
appropriate standards are in compliance with department standards and
procedures. Maintains the information security environment and reports
security violations. Performs additional job duties as required. Expert in
information security technology systems. Has basic understanding of
information security technology systems. Understands business issues they
support. Moderate projects and tasks.
Consultants will be using Appscan and other security tools to perform
in-depth application security testing. Results of the testing need to be
communicated effectively to Application Development Team Management and
Business leadership. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills is
required. Engagement will involve promoting awareness of OWASP principles
and other relevant best information security practices.
The position involves considerable interaction with developers, so
familiarity with popular web-development languages is desired
Max Rate is: $50/hr, Lower the Better
