General Description: This position will be responsible for supporting the Demand to build business processes in Oracle application. The modules supported by the position include Inventory, Bills of material, Costing, Work in Process, Advance supply chain planning and Oracle Demand planning using Demantra, as well providing secondary support for the Purchasing and QA/ENG modules. This role will work closely with the Sr. Staff in Operations, Supply chain manager and Purchasing manager as well as the development team for manufacturing development and project implementations. This position is for Puerto Rico and the person should be able to live in Puerto Rico to support manufacturing site. Essential Functions: * Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems. * Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies. * Partner with business representatives at all levels to assess, refine, and drive appropriate Manufacturing and planning solutions. * Must be able to understand not only the technical aspects of Oracle applications, but the functionality as well. * Maintains a detailed knowledge of the business' current technology and infrastructure. * Takes ownership of problems or support issues that arise in the operation of assigned business systems, ensuring that all issues are resolved in an expedient fashion and to user satisfaction. * The ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent task/projects is required. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent. * 5 Plus years of industry experience, 4 or more years of Oracle Application primarily in the Mfg and SCM modules like BOM, WIP, ENG & Quality, Purchasing) * Must have functional experience with Oracle Applications 11i module configuration and processes for the following Modules: Inventory, Purchasing, and Discrete Manufacturing, advanced Supply Chain Planning a big plus. * iSupplier / ASCP/Demantra module knowledge would be an added advantage. * Must have at least 2-3 full-life cycle implementations including one as a functional or technical lead. * Must be knowledgeable in underlying Oracle Apps database architecture with regard to MFG schemas, application program interfaces (APIs), data elements, tables and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion, Inventory discrepancies, picking and packing problems, and reporting support.
