Position : Java Developer LOCATION: BALTIMORE, MD DURATION: 4 + MONTHS RATE: 44/HR Need Exp on Brokerage Interview Telephonic Knowledge and development experience in *Struts 2* and Spring and experience working with database (Oracle, SQL) • Knowledge and experience with at least one industry recognized Software Configuration Management tool set. SCM package ( ClearCase preferred) • Able to interpret business requirements and programming specifications to write software programs that solve business needs. • Confer with system analysts, managers, technical personnel and customers to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy or feasibility, output requirements, input data acquisition, coding use and modifications and inclusion of internal checks and controls • Must have good oral and written communication skills • Ability to work on a team as well as independently *OBJECTIVE:* This position serves as a technical resource to support the development, deployment and implementation of software code into the Production and Test environments in support of the CRM application, Consolidated Desktop. The position is located in Baltimore/Columbia, Maryland. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Responsible for configuration management issues associated with software development. • Work closely with Software Development and Software Quality Assurance to define and implement procedures for releasing products throughout the whole product life cycle, including maintenance of software and documentation libraries. • Coordinate with our assigned Release Coordinator, testing environment leads and Configuration Management throughout the development and release cycle, merging code files as necessary. • Work with other developers including the Salesforce.com development staff to identify solutions and develop new features and enhancements to our internal CRM Application which is built upon the TDA Internal Applications Framework (Java, Spring, Struts 2) • Grow a new development skill (training provided) – specifically VisualForce development – within the Salesforce.com development platform. • Define, communicate and maintain policies and procedures for builds and releases. • Verify methods to create and recreate software builds, UAT testing engagement with the business and QA and production implementation processes that are reliable and repeatable • Regularly communicate software build status to the development and quality teams, developing proactive solutions for software configuration management issues • Integrate source control and defect tracking tools, as possible • Knowledge and development experience in Struts 2 and Spring and experience working with database (Oracle, SQL) • Knowledge and experience with at least one industry recognized Software Configuration Management tool set.
