Position Responsibilities
As as SOA Architect you are responsible to build an incremental, enterprise-wide SOA implementation. Development of the methodology, foundation and framework. Assist various customers with respect to SOA strategy and implementation. Able to influence the application development teams to design and build quality solutions within the standard SOA architecture.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 5+ Years of experience as an SOA Architect and Extensive knowledge in middleware technologies and SOA adoption
* Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies, Knowledge of Sun JCAPS / Oracle Fusion
* Architecture, designing and implementation knowledge in one of the above is mandatory
* Design and Development Experience using SOA principles. Defining service Portfolio Management, Service Registry etc.,
* Expert in developing mini- proof of concepts, proto-typing, writing and reviewing code.
* Must be expert in Identifying and adopting SOA / Middleware design patterns and set guiding principles. Providing oversight for all technology and development activities
* Reviews and assess the impact of proposed scope changes to the future state architecture. Central point of contact for middleware-EAI and SOA related issues
* Establishing the technical direction to the development teams
* Requirement is to have experience with at least 2 of the above 3 platforms and participate in tool selection phase along with WEX Architects.
* Good Communication Skills, Team Player, with Architects and development teams and Good Interpersonal skills
