Title: SAP Integration Architect. I have a Java/.Net/SAP Architect opportunity available. It is a contract position located in Newark, NJ with a scheduled duration of 6+ months. Job Description: Provide hands-on technical expertise to the SAP & MOSS Portal team with respect to implementing internally and externally facing SAP and Microsoft based Portal solutions. Assist the Manager and architect in the review and evaluation of project deliverables as well as overall planning, organizing and controlling the Portal activities of the Competency Center and in the development of the overall Portal project plans and timetables. Deliver complex client Portal projects with aggressive project targets around time, cost and quality. Drive the adoption of Microsoft Sharepoint and SAP Portal technologies. Lead resources in the definition, development, specification and communication of the firm's Portal navigation and architecture plan and the infrastructure components required to support it.. Integrate other..NET and other NetWeaver-based applications within the Portal creating wire frames for sites and web applications. Required: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least five, typically seven or more years experience in Portal architecture methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. * Five or more years experience implementing multi-tiered web based architectures utilizing Portal technologies, web technologies, ecommerce solutions, identity management solutions and collaboration tools in a consultative or leadership role. * Experience providing technical leadership in the implementation of two or more full life cycle SAP Portal projects in a Fortune 500 environment. * Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint Technologies and integration of SAP iViews on Microsoft Sharepoint Platform. Experience with implementing enterprise and federated search functionality * Experience creating high level vision, solution architecture and design documents, including some human interaction analysis / usability experience. * Strong knowledge of at least two web application servers technologies - NetWeaver, WebSphere, Microsoft, etc. * Expert level understanding of following programming languages & concepts: HTML, Java, JSP, BSP, XML, SSL, Web Dynpro, .NET, Web Services (WSDL's), open source technologies, SAML. * Basic understanding of federated identity management concepts to enable Self-Service, Single Sign on, Password management. * Excellent consultative and oral/written communication and management skills. * Strong problem solving, decision making, change management, and leadership abilities. Desired: * Advanced degree, e.g. Masters in Technology or Information Systems * Experience in the design, implementation and launch of identity management processes and tools for large scale ecommerce initiatives. * Experience working in an outsourced environment with an offshore delivery model. * Ability to interact with BASIS personnel at a technical level.
