Position: Application Architect Location: Nassau Park, NJ Duration: 6 + months Leads Application Architecture Development & Review projects. Collaborates with Business Clients, Business Relationship Management and other architecture domains(Data, Services and Technical) to deliver baseline, future state, architecture roadmaps and other required deliverables. Supports or leads RFI & RFP analysis and development efforts driven by IM/Business. Pro-actively communicates with architecture domain leads to review strategy, approach and recommendations. Contributes to the application architecture continuum in order to enable architecture reuse and build out current state baseline architectures. Executes Solution Option sessions related to application build/buy new situations leveraging application portfolio & core application strategies. Drives compliance to Application Architecture principles & standards throughout project work & assists with refining application architecture practice. Helps facilitate Enterprise Architecture Review Board and Working Group sessions. Position Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to effectively engage executives and architecture domains on a broad range of business strategy and technology topics. Must adapt engagement approach based audience and project requirements. Communicates honestly, openly, and consistently shares information appropriately involving all necessary stakeholders in solving problems. Able to evaluate information quickly, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience, and common sense. Is able to present effectively using an interactive presentation style and able to conduct effective meetings involving the appropriate players in understanding and resolving problems. Possesses the ability to develop creative solutions to problems which blend experience with new ideas and subsequently into clear and actionable IT strategy & architecture. Demonstrates strong Core BMS Behaviors, especially Leads Strategically, Embraces Teamwork, and Drives Performance. Technical qualifications will include: . Data Modeling . Physical database design and database tuning expertise . RDBMS skills . SQL and PL/SQL experience .
