Assist in the development of high-level system design; this includes class diagrams, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams. . Designing and developing application: this includes recommending and analyzing options, coding, testing and deployment related activities. . Using and recommending best practices for application development. . Co-ordinate User Acceptance testing and perform bug fixes. . Participate in team meetings. Architecture/Infrastructure Assessment ---------------------------------- . Review existing system documentation and work with key staff to understand existing application architecture and infrastructure and assess system performance and capacity for long-term growth. . Recommend upgrades and strategy for consideration in light of assessment findings, application enhancements that are targeted, and transaction volume increase that is projected. THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY Mandatory Skill/Expertise A minimum of 8 years experience with designing and developing applications. A minimum of 8 years experience in .Net development for large-scale enterprise systems. Working knowledge of: Visual Studio .NET 2008 ADO.NET 3.5 DataSets ASP.NET 3.5 Master Pages Crystal Reports HTML JavaScript SQL Server 2005 Transact-SQL Ability to plan technical architecture and develop use cases documents. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques. THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED: Desirable Skill/Expertise Working knowledge of Linq, Infragistics and SQL reporting Services. Prior government (NYC preferred) experience managing and implementing web based applications. Experience working with Criminal Justice Agencies.
