SharePoint Architect Prefers Local candidate Face to face – Decisions will
be made immediate 6 – 8 weeks project

*DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:*


Lead discovery sessions with client IT and business decision-makers to
uncover their business pains and their needs concerning improved and
streamlined business productivity then deliver follow-on proof of concepts
and/or the implementation of SharePoint solutions.
Identify and recommend hardware and software required to meet client
requirements
Install, configure, customize and administer SharePoint solutions.
May oversee of team of developers during implementation
The ideal candidate would be experienced in delivering high quality
solutions with proven technical background, strong analytical skills,
well-rounded business/industry experience, and a flair for customer
satisfaction.

*REQUIRED SKILLS:*


• 5+ Years of Experience in progressively challenging technical roles
developing and deploying applications.
• Strong programming experience (5+ years) using Microsoft .NET technologies
in a web-centric environment and well rounded experience in several
Microsoft products
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing, designing, developing and delivering
Web-based applications
• Understanding and experience with object-oriented design and architectural
practices and design patterns
• Strong architectural and design skills and the ability to formulate a
solution from client requirements
• Solid understanding of Microsoft IW principles including supporting
technologies such as SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services
v2, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Windows SharePoint Services v3, Office
SharePoint Server 2007), Office System, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel
Services and Web services
• An in-depth knowledge of .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server
• Experience in the implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools
(forums/issues lists. etc.) and ability to seamlessly integrate with other
Microsoft tools.
• Implementation and integration of SharePoint Reporting Functions,
Implementation and Integration of SharePoint Document Management functions
with the ability to take SharePoint beyond "out of the box" to provide
enhanced executive dashboards, data exploration and operating reports.
• Ability to lead complete software development lifecycle, including
analysis, design, programming and unit testing for Information Worker
applications based on Microsoft technologies
• Strong ability to assist clients with business requirements for their
SharePoint and Office System based solutions and create the appropriate
Information Architecture (taxonomy)
• Actual hands on experience developing custom Web Parts and integrating
enterprise content with SharePoint to including content indexing,
personalization, restricting access to content
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of
business both verbally and in writing
• Possess a strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and
professional skills on a continual basis



*DESIRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):
*• Four-year degree in business or computer-related field
• Three or more years of consulting experience
• One or more engagements, in an Architect role, working with MOSS 2007
• Certification in the SharePoint Services SDK for 2007 (MOSS 2007)
• Experience with PerformancePoint, Dynamics CRM, and/or Virtual Earth a
plus
