Position: Cobol\CICS\DB2 programmers
Location: Sacramento , CA
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: Best $/hr AI on C2C
Positions: 1
We are seeking Cobol\CICS\DB2 programmers with experience and expertise in
documenting and understanding requirements, completing anaysis and design
deliverables, developing and unit testing code. Must have been part of a
development project through the entire Systems Development Life Cycle
(Requirements through Close Down) using a formal methodology.
Work Hours: The incumbent will be required to work a minimum of 40-45 hours
per week.
Occasional work on weekends will be required as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- A minimum of seven (7) years experience working with COBOL and CICS in a
large system environment
- A minimum of five (5) years experience working with a formal SDLC
methodology
- A minimum of five (5) years experience developing applications in a DB2
environment
- Strong communications skills and the ability to collaborate successfully
with a diverse team of other developers and client staff
Duties:
Working under the direction of a technical team leader, the incumbent will
be responsible for performing all phases of the Systems Development Life
Cycle (SDLC). They will be expected to produce work products that include
requirements specification documents, software design documents, source
code, unit test plans, unit test cases, and program documentation. The
incumbent will also be required to participate in frequent meetings and
various technical working sessions with the client
