Description Responsible for maintaining existing financial and database applications including conversions and upgrades, writing new programs to help automate existing manual procedures, and setting up data imports and exports. Specific responsibilities include the following: Developing, maintaining Business Objects reports and universes. Works with business users as well as technical staff to source, develop, maintain and interpret results. Xcelsius proficiency is desirable. * College degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience * 7-8 years experience with Business Objects software, designer, universe, security, CMS, Crystal Reporting * Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines * Detailed knowledge and proficiency of programming languages * Proficiency with relational databases, SQL * Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
