* EAD - SAP Application Developer *
Principal Application Developer (SAP & Integration) *JOB SUMMARY: * ** This is an individual and team contributor providing technical and business knowledge to application development and enhancement projects utilizing current computing architectures. As a Principal Application Developer should provide technical guidance, mentorship, and SAP best practices knowledge to the technical team for the provision of SAP solutions and associated services to IDEXX business units. This position is an integral member of the SCOE Development Team and is primarily responsible for executing strategies, architecting, designing, developing and supporting the SAP Applications suite. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * ** · Architect solutions to the more complex technical problems within our SOA environment and EAF · Design, develop, implement, and maintain web sites, internet based applications, SAP suite applications and applications in other technologies. · Provide support for and coordinate improvements and break / fix issues for the existing SAP suite of applications with an emphasis on SD, FI, HR and other Modules. · Leverage best practices and provide guidance to use the same in SAP solution and service delivery. · Effectively work with service providers, prioritize project deliverables, and determine implementation approaches. · Implementation and integration services centered on BEA and SAP suite applications. · Integration of shop floor systems to enterprise using SAP MII, SAP Business Suite and composite applications. · Enterprise-wide visibility using SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Business Objects to help clients improve business performance. · Accelerated testing services for SAP solutions to shorten the time to production, while lowering the total cost of ownership and mitigating risk of SAP implementation · Build integrations for application to application and B2B solutions. Create data maps, conversion programs, design, development, and implementation of interface and enhancement programs of legacy, mobile, Non-SAP and SAP systems. · Ability to understand and explain others the cross-functional and global implications of business process decisions and their implementation in a global SAP environment. · Ability to establish / maintain credibility and collaborative relationship with the business and functional resources. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * *EDUCATION*: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required or equivalent technical training and work experience.** *EXPERIENCE*: 10+ years experience in system development, 6 years experience developing in current area of expertise** . *REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES*: ** · Strong knowledge of procedural and object oriented programming techniques. · Minimum 8 years experience in application development and with all phases of system development life cycle. · Minimum of 4 years SAP development experience in ECC 5.0 / 6.0 utilizing the new SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stack technologies EP, BI, and PI. · 2 years of recent experience in SAP HCM ABAP development such as Employee Self Services (ESS), Web Dynpro for ABAP & Java, NWDI and Enterprise Portals. · 3 years EAI/ETL Development and Support Experience (Data Mapping, Translation, Integration on multi-platform environment) · 3 years SAP PI experience in SLD, ID, IR/ESR, XML, Java, ABAP and XSLT mappings of data in various formats; Hands on experience in Runtime workbench, communication channel scheduling, Message Monitoring, EDI, ALE Configuration and complex ccBPM · Strong skills in standard PI adapters, IDOC, RFC, ABAP and Java Proxies, File, JMS, JDBC adapters, SOAP and Web Services · Experience and proficiency in SAP development tools and technologies such as o ABAP Work Bench, Data dictionary, Dialog Programming, WebDynpro o ALV Reports and ABAP Objects. o Interfaces-EDI/ALE/IDOCs, RFC, BAPI's o Conversions - BDC and LSMW o User-exits- CMOD/SMOD, BADI, Enhancement Frame Work o Forms-Sapscript, Smartforms, Adobe o Business workflow and UWL · Strong knowledge of ABAP performance tuning skills, debug and SQL tracing tools. · Experience with Web Services technologies, Java/J2EE APIs, XML/XSLT standards and SOA · Experience in SAP modules such as SD, HR and FI is preferred. · Experience with SAP archiving and workflow development is preferred. · Experience with composite application development would be a big plus. · Knowledge of solution manager and components. · Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills. · Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines. · Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage multiple priorities and meeting stretch goals. · Ability to work independently, should be detail oriented, work in a team environment. · Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to senior IT management, functional and business teams. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS:* Extensive computer use.* * ** *WORK ENVIRONMENT*: Normal Office Environment -- Thanks & Regards Stephen Ross |Technical Recruiter Dwlabs Inc Direct: 732-231-7733 Fax: 732-348-9590 Email: step...@dwlabs.com
