Description Test Engineer/ Level 3 Production Support Qualifications: The focus of these positions will be to support the network operations organization at a Tier 3 level for our automation platform? so experience in that type of environment is a big bonus. * BSEE, CSE, or CE 4-yr degree * 3+ years in QE/QA white-box testing experience with wireless applications, wireless devices, and wireless networks. * 2+ years test automation script development experience using wireless automation tools such as Mobile Complete, TestQuest, Keynote, Argo Monitor Master, RCATS, WinRunner/LoadRunner, or similar tools. This is the most critical skill. *Experience with QA/QE testing methodology, building and defining test cases, and developing automated test scenarios to validate product functionality * 2+ years general wireless communications background and familiarity with GSM/3G technologies desirable * 2+ years experience using any of the following technologies highly desirable: • MSFT SQL database experience • Oracle DBA experience • Web development experience ? server side and mobile J2ME experience • Cisco networking and/or network engineering experience • MCSE or equivalent certification • Java/Javascript programming experience and general software language coding experience. Must have some experience in development. Responsibilities: Job candidate will fill role as an automation QA engineer developing and supporting automated testing of mobile applications and services offered on wireless devices. This role supports various product and quality verification initiatives by developing automated test scripts, configuring the automated test system, and performing test execution and analysis of results. Engineer will do daily troubleshooting and analysis of automated results and be proactive in engaging appropriate teams to resolve issues. Engineer will also be responsible for system administration of automated platform, installation of test equipment hardware, and software as well as functioning as SME for test automation to support business analysts and lifecycle managers. The successful candidate has proven experience working with test and monitoring solutions for mobile applications.
