Required: 2+ years experience as an Oracle 10g DBA supporting Oracle databases in high availability UNIX environments, experience with performance tuning, capacity planning of Oracle 10g, experience in participating in 24x7 on call rotation as required, experience using and deploying oracle RDBMS software, data management tools and utilities on Unix environments, working knowledge of Sun Solaris and/or IBM AIX OS platforms, proven ability to work through SRs with Oracle Corporation technical support , demonstrated DBMS diagnostic skills in areas of tuning (SQL and Instance), ability to interpret AWR/ADDM oracle reports, experience with RMAN, Legato, VCS is desired, ability to work as part of a Target's oracle DBA team and to share knowledge to ensure team success, ability work independently on assigned Oracle DBA tasks/projects, good communication skills written and verbal, ability to handle multiple DBA projects and tasks on a given day/week, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
