Title: MS Exchange engineer Location: Washington DC Metro/Maryland Expected Duration: 3+ month contract Rate: $45 Corp to Corp We are looking for an immediate start for a MS Exchange engineer for a project in Washington DC Metro/Maryland with possible travel to Northern California, and New York City 80% Travel Range: 9/21 to 12/30 with possibility to extend. A minimum 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or work experience equivalent, Past consulting experience as the individual will often be acting in a consulting role and as a technical advisor, A willingness to perform some level of travel to customer locations, The ability to articulate solutions to such diverse constituencies as project managers, clients, business stakeholders and engineers, and to coordinate (with both project management and engineering) major systems events such as application upgrades, launches, load tests and deployments, A willingness to learn new technologies and their applications in the enterprise, The ability to quickly understand and be able to articulate business impacts of technical decisions and drive solutions to specific business problems through the effective use of technology. The ability to prepare technical reports, client presentations, design documentation, and manuals. Grasp the approved scope and identify any changes. Minimum Requirements 7+ years working with Microsoft’s Exchange, MS Product Suites, server and server related products in an e-commerce mission critical environment 3+ years experience with administrating recent versions of Active 3+ directory and supporting components. 3+ years experience with implementing and administrating recent versions 3+ of Microsoft SQL Server and IIS. Experience designing and implementing MS Clusters. Experience administrating Business applications running on Windows servers. Experience administrating Microsoft based file systems and permissions structures. Tier 1 server hardware experience (Compaq, Dell, IBM) Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSE) Script and/or coding experience, preferably VB or VBA.
