Location : Edison, NJ & Charlotte, NC
Duration : 3 to 6 months
Positions : 2 (TWO)
Start Date : ASAP
Position Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for physical database design
2. Responsible for implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouses
3. Responsible with all coordination with other technical & functional team leads
4. Responsible for physical DB performance tuning
5. Logical Modeling
6. Logical to Physical Model Rationalization
7. Supporting Business Requirements analysis
8. Rationalizing multiple data quality rules to single logical medical
9. Identifying use of abstract principles and determining overall modeling to be used.
10. Responsible for developing security requirements
11. Responsible for Defining User Interface Standards
Required Skills:
1. 8 + years of overall IT Experience.
2. 3 to 5 years as a Data Architect within IT project environments.
3. Experience in Systems Analysis and working with rigorous Quality Assurance standards
4. Experience with Design of database architecture and use of Case Tools like ER/WIN
5. Extensiv work experience with ETL tools like Sagent, Informatica and Mercator
6. Good experience in reporting tools like Seagate Info and Multi-dimensional OLAP tools like Pilot Lightship and Essbase etc.,
7. Full project life-cycle from requirements gathering to testing.
8. Experience in design techniques for OLTP, data warehouse, and data mart design.
9. Experience in data modeling and data architecture principles.
10. Experience in RDBMS technologies like Oracle and SQL Server.
11. Experience in using tools such as Erwin, Power Designer, or Q designer.
12. Understanding/experience in working within an iterative development environment.
