*Location:* NYC *Duration:* 6+ Months *Description:* * * * * ETL/BI Developer *Skills:* *Oracle Business Intellegence EE 10.3.x *Business Requirements *Database *Transact SQL Server *Informatica *Data Warehouse *Previous experience in Financial Services *Good understanding of Capital Markets and Products : Equity, FX and Commodities is a Big Plus *Description:* Hands-on BI Development: *Candidate will be responsible for documenting, design, prototyp and development of strategic Business Intelligence Platform using Oracle BI for Finance/MIS reporting. *Candidate will be working as part of the BI team and involved in multiple and parallel process. *Candidate will be involved in all aspects of the analysis and development of the data warehouse, OBIEE repository and Interactive dashboards. *Person will also be responsible for analysis, migrations and deployment procedures. *Functions:* * Analyze business and technical requirements as well as logical data model to understand the detailed data management requirements * Document and maintain physical database environments from table, column, index, and view definitions to storage requirements and growth accommodations * Document and maintain data security and asset protection techniques that meet business requirements * Work with Data Analysts to design, and implement solutions for extraction and integration of data to and from databases for the purposes of reporting, decision support, and analysis * Monitor database and system performance including the optimization and tuning of data loads and extractions as well as recommend appropriate changes to ensure and improve system performance and reliability *Oracle BI Qualifications:* *Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 10.3.x *OBIEE Repository Design & Development *OBIEE Reports and Dashboard Design *Oracle 10/11g or MS SQL Server 2005 *J2EE or .NET Framework is a + Plus *ETL Development Qualifications*: * 5+ years of SQL Server development * SQL Server ETL development experience * Strong integration services and data warehouse experience * Candidates must be highly proficient in SQL Server 2000 and 2005 operations and T-SQL * Performance tuning/MS SQL development skills to include SQL Profiler and Performance * Experience with DB2 UDB * Proficiency with Informatica ETL * Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse methodologies and concepts including and not limited to: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools * Experience working with and within cross functional Development, QA, Test, and Production Teams * Excellent analytical skills * Ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment * Pursue a proactive approach to problem solving Thanks & Regards, Madhukar 678-799-8602 *madhu...@vancevatech.com* <madhu...@vancevatech.com>
