Wealth Management and Advisory Services experience is required.** * * Job Purpose/ Description: ** * * This position is responsible for conducting the analysis, creating necessary documentation, and managing the tasks / plan for the Advice workstream as part of the overall project whereby Client is introducing a new investment product. ** Responsible for application analysis, design, and application development activities Create functional requirements and functional designs Assist with test plan and test case creation and execution Manages effort thru SDLC process - meeting project milestones and budget. Manage significant work-stream as part of a large, complex project with great impact on the enterprise. Excels at delivering projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations. Excellent ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports. Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution. * * *Tasks and Responsibilities: *** * * Experience in full project lifecycle - gathering requirements, documenting designs, and assisting with testing and implementation activities. Create the requirements and functional design documents. Manage the advice workstream efforts - the project plan and financials. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills. Apply our project and process methodology - maintain documentation, plans, status reporting, estimates, etc.. Manage an external third party vendor. * * Required education/experience: ** * * Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. Financial Services experience required - in area such as Wealth Management or Advisory Services. Experience managing and working with external software vendors. - Experience with Lifecycle and Managed Account products a plus - 8 plus years of IT work experience Excellent understanding of IT and its alignment with business processes.
