Location: Lansing,MI Duration : 6 Months *Sap BI Analyst* Environment: SAP ECC 6.0, SAP-BI 7.0, Cognos BI Report Net, SAP HCM - Holding outreach sessions with many MAUs within MSU to gather the BI requirements. - Consolidating the BI requirements from approx 1000 to a manageable 350. - Setting up the connection from Cognos BI to SAP BI using Cognos connection. - Creating Cognos package on SAP BI cubes, multi providers and queries to be published in Cognos Connection. - Enhanced the standard delivered SAP BI cubes for incorporating custom fields configured in SAP ECC HCM system. - Developed custom and enhanced standard HCM extractors. - Extensively used Cognos Report Studio for creating reports from package published via Cognos Connection. - Designed and solution the complex FMLA (Family Medical Leave of Absence) report adhering to FMLA law by looking back 7 years of historical data. - Created test cases for reports to check for concurrent employment reporting.
