We are looking for a *"QA Test Lead”** (IBM)* *Location:* Pleasanton, CA *Start: *Immediately *Duration:* 6 Months * * *As an IB Test Lead, you will be required to * - Perform Certification (QA) testing for MQ-based HL7 middleware solutions; - Communicate effectively with the Development Leads, internal managers, business, project management and other IT teams to review project documentation and determine testing needs; - Create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status and include metrics for continued process improvements; - Use your testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center. - Work independently and work with your peers when guidance is required. - Report open issues and ensure that sufficient documentation is available to solve technical problems; - Provide Test Summary documentation to communicate risk assessments and provide input so that a recommendation on the quality of the system can be made by your management; - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Participate in internal design reviews - Contribute to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live *Experience / Qualifications * - Minimum 5 years hands-on of experience in functional, system or integration testing. - Proficient in testing MQ-oriented middleware solutions - Strong problem solving, analytical skills in testing, development and automation - Ability to decompose documents to create test cases and scenarios for complex integrations - Highly skilled in writing test documentation (plans, test cases, status report), executing test cases & identifying defects - Experience with testing tools (ex.
