Project description: USPS has contracted HP/EDS to provide an eCommerce solution which will include development of custom Java code enhancements to the ATG eCommerce framework. HP will be responsible for providing development and testing environment to support the effort. HP will work with customer to develop and refine the overall conceptual model for eCommerce framework. This model will, refine the true business requirements. *REQ:2* Position Title Java Programmer Priority High Primary Skill Java Other Skills JavaFX, Netbeans IDE, Web 2.0, JSP, EJB, LDAP, XML, Glass Fish Duration 4 TO 12 Months Position Type Contract Location Saltlake City, UT Description 1) Understands Sun's Web-Stack including JavaFX, Netbeans IDE, understands SOA and how modern Web 2.0 applications leverage a layered (n-tier) architecture for integrating to underlying data-sources via Web-Services rather than Hibernate. 2) Able to leverage good design principles, around Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Server Faces (JSF), Stateless EJBs with Java Persistence Architecture (JPA). 3) Understands how to conduct a web-design methodology with regards to gathering customer requirements, mock-ups and prototypes as a means to gain customer's acceptance. 4) Understands the role LDAP and Roles/resources plays in a web application design/development (Sun OpenSSO) 5) Understand JAX-RS and XML Restful Services design. Bottom line is able to use Sun's Java ES and leverage Sun Java CAPS and Sun's Glassfish Application Server to develop a modern dynamic Web 2.0 Rich Internet Application with SOA principles.
