*Location: Bay Area, CA* *Duration: 6 months * *Description:* *Essential Functions:* * Responsible for identifying candidate Rules Engines. * Responsible for comparison/analysis of candidate Rules Engines. * Key contributor to the design of a Java rules integration component for use in portal, web services, and pojo applications. * Responsible for developing eBusiness rules vocabulary. * Responsible for Rules Testing Architecture and Framework requirements, design, and tool selection. *Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):* * 3 to 5 years experience with one or more rules engines. * 3 to 5 years experience with reusable Web Services. * 3 to 5 years experience developing reusable components/frameworks. * Knowledge of several of the following is preferred, JAVA, JSP, XML, WebSphere Portal Server, WebSphere Applicaiton Server, WebSphere Process Server * Some experience with UNIX operating system is highly desirable. * Strong analysis and problem solving skills. * Ability to interface with business partners. * Ability to communicate issues and escalate problems. * Ability to create architectural documentation (UML, Agile artifacts). *Training and Experience:* * B.S.
