Position Description
A database developer (with some Java or perl experience) to join a team
supporting enterprise wide risk repository. The system operates 24/6 and
stores over 300m risk records a day. A highly motivated person is needed to
support further gorowth of the database potentially requiring a redesign.
Skills Required
* Strong knowledge of SQL
* Solid database design skills
* Understanding of algorithms and data structures
* Financial (especially risk management) background is a big plus
* Data warehousing experience is a big plus
Skills Desired
* 3-5 years of core java experience
* Financial (especially risk management) background is a big plus
* Data warehousing experience is a big plus
* OLAP (MSAS/SSAS)
* DB2
* Experience with reporting software (BO, Crystal, Cognos) is a big plus
* Familiarity with Informatica is a plus
