Duration: 6-8 Months* *Description:* MANDATORY XML, XSL to build message driven services - XML Development - XSL Development - JAVA development (JUnit, Mock, Groovy) - Eclipse - Test Driven Development (CI and TDD) - Linux - Agile / Scrum methodology -SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) *Required-* Must have 2-3 years of experience as a JAVA Developer. Candidate must be able to work in an Agile Scrum environment, interacting with senior IT leadership. Must be able to help design, develop, program, and deliver claims processing business solutions as a part of a SOA based (Service Orientated Architecture) services. Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming activities supporting applications services built on JAVA and TIBCO infrastructure. Analyzes, designs, implements and extends JAVA based applications. Works with business users to develop statements of problems and requirements, designs applications solutions including configuration and extensions. Applies knowledge of JAVA based applications and extension tools to define and develop solutions programmed and implemented in business applications. Tests developed configured solutions and corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Designs, specifies, implements, and maintains automated and manual systems, and documents computer programs for systems of the highest complexity. Screens requests for computer services, determines general customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions and functional specifications, and develops conversion plans and procedures. Must be able to work as a part of a medium sized technical team, 3-8 associates, and interface directly with a Project Manager applying Agile / Scrum methodology. Involved in coordinating the most complex software development issues that arise in production environments. Capable of influencing and setting IT technical direction. Must be able to work independently to complete tasks.
