Role: VB Application Developer
Duration: 1 year
Loc: Sacramento, CA
Client: State government of CA
1. Modify the UCC client application written in Visual Basic 6.0 to run on a
Windows XP or higher workstation.
2. Modify the custom modules for the interface between Unisys eWorkflow and
Imaging system version 8.0 (UeWI) and the UCC application.
3. Assist in upgrading the Unisys eWorkflow and Imaging system version 8.0
(UeWI) to the most current version.
4. Modify the UCC client and server applications written in Visual Basic 6.0
to be compatible with MS Office 2003 or higher.
5. Review the UCC application for Payment Card Industry Security Standard
(PCI) compliance.
6. Modify existing ASP code to meet users' requirements.
7. Provide knowledge transfer to the ITD staff.
8. Define and document business requirements for new and existing modules as
assigned.
9. Develop and test modules for new and existing applications as assigned.
10. Participate in code walkthroughs to ensure the program meets the
business requirements and follows the coding standards.
11. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
12. Develop technical documentation for all new and modified modules.
13. Analyze and resolve functional and operational problems identified by
the end users.
Contractor Minimum Qualifications
The proposed consultant must possess the following skills and experiences:
1. A minimum of five years developing Windows applications using the
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
2. A minimum of five years developing web-based application using classic
ASP.
3. A minimum of five years developing custom modules to interface with UeWI
or a similar imaging solution.
4. Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UeWI.
5. Familiarity with developing PCI compliant applications.
6. Developing stored procedures in Oracle 9i.
7. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
8. Good oral and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical skills.
