Hi,
Only citizens, GC Role: RF Systems Engineer: 6-12 month contract to hire Location: Richardson, TX Face to Face Qualifications Needed: RF System Engineering Experience 3-5+ years of overall experience Must have "in-building" RF design background. Understands the principles of radio propagation, interface analysis. Thorough understanding of RF propagation theory and prediction tools. RF system link and interference analysis Determine RF coverage predictions and link budgets of distributed antenna systems Coaxial and fiber based distributed antenna system design Integration of passive and active devices including RF to Fiber conversion, Bi-Directional Amplifiers Complete understanding of components specifications such as power dividers, couplers, filters, RF combining networks Experience with RF prediction tools (Wireless Valley preferred). Ability to solve complex technical problems relating to NF, dynamic range and system loss/gain, link budgets Experience using the following tools would be advantageous: Microsoft Visio, Excel and Power Point Actual engineering experience in site surveys, design, installation, and testing of RF systems Ability to clearly articulate design concepts and solutions to customers Ability to work in a team environment Must be able to evaluate signal interference and other technical issues Responsibilities: RF design of Wireless Distributed Antenna Systems Perform comprehensive site surveys to conduct RF band-sweeps in order to record RF signal levels Perform comprehensive walk-throughs and verify all building materials are accounted for Perform loss analysis on any unknown material used in the building to use in propagation analysis/coverage prediction Interface with Wireless Carriers to coordinate Off-Air Bidirectional Amplifier Assist in the design of a broadband turnkey solution from 400MHz to 3 GHz Design indoor system due to mass building penetration loss Frequently model and antenna coverage in the 900 MHz band. Design user of prediction tools, also knowledge of MapInfo dB planner, PlaNET and Wireless Valley (indoor). Determine RF coverage predictions and link budgets of distributed antenna systems Coaxial and fiber based distributed antenna system design Integration of passive and active devices including RF to Fiber conversion, Bi-Directional Amplifiers Integrates field measurement data into RF Design Software to analyze propagation characteristics, determine RF parameters, and perform propagation analysis Work closely with other teams to maximize in-building performance Help perform server analysis to locate physical interference source Thanks and best regards, Monica Walsh SERBIZ Inc., Direct:978-935-2283 Office:978-703-1314 Fax: 866-644-8512 mwa...@serbizinc.com www.serbizinc.com P Please do not print this email unless it is absolutely necessary.
