RESPONSIBILITIES: The project is 80% PL/SQL development in a datawarehouse/datamart and 20% design/architecture. Work closely with Risk IT and Risk IT business teams to understand requirements and provide development solutions as well as architecture design and technical specifications Ensure high quality and application performance in the data architecture and data management results in delivering robust solutions to customers and clients REQUIRED SKILLS: 10+ years of development experience with Oracle PL/SQL in a datawarehouse/datamart. Strong experience in designing, developing and deploying complex data warehouse ETL workflows with large data volumes. 5+ years of in Oracle parallel execution and ETL development. 5 years experience in Oracle logical/physical data modeling (Star schemas slowly changing dimensions, table/index/materialized views partitioning and logs utilization.) Proven track on ETL performance tuning, job scheduling, data profiling, data cleansing, data quality validation and testing. 3 years of experience in Query rewrite, Query Equivalence and Star Transformation. Possess strong communication and client management skills, and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in financial industries preferred in derivatives brokerage firm Oracle 11g experience is highly desirable.
