* * *Senior Systems Administrator to support our clients HP-UX 11i and RedHat Linux envi* Required skills: · Minimum of 5 years experience in system administration of HP-UX 11i (11.11, 11.23 & 11.31 preferred ) and RedHat Linux ( 5.2 including/preferred ) systems · A strong understanding of Linux and HP-UX security tools, principles, and concerns · Level 2 / Level 3 Troubleshooting skills – Debugging and Performance tuning · Ability to develop, document and/or contribute to secure “standard builds” · Understanding and experience with LVM · Good written and oral communication skills · Ability to work well on teams and projects. · Good scripting skills · Understanding and experience in design and implementation of High Availability systems · Familiarity with SAN’s as it relates to HP-UX and / or RedHat systems · Knowledge / Experience with “yum” and “rpm” · Knowledge / Experience of HP’s “Make Net Recovery” Utility · Knowledge / Experience with Hewlett-Packard’s Ignite-UX for use in HP-UX patching
