1. Position Opening:     ERP Configurer (Payroll), Miami, FL. 


Work Locations:                 Miami, Florida  

Anticipated Start Date:        To begin ASAP

Length of Contract:              Initially 3 to 12 Months with possible
extensions.

Project Description:          SAP Payroll Consultant/Configurer in Public
Sector 

Responsibilities

.         Assist in gap analysis between M-DCPS requirements and SAP
functionality, review and adopt new functionality in SAP 

.         Review M-DCPS process requirements and suggest further
enhancements and improvements where possible 

.         Configure SAP system settings according to M-DCPS business
requirements and document all configuration

.         Execute and develop Unit, Functional, Integration and Parallel
Testing scripts 

.         Define User Authorization profiles and security roles 

.         Identify needs for systems development, specify requirements and
review data requirements with Development team 

.         Write functional specifications for development objects 

.         Write and/or assist in development of BPPs and other training
material 

.         Coordinate interface testing with existing legacy systems and
third party vendors 

.         Assist in the preparation and validation of end user training and
documentation 

.         Report delays and risks to team leads 

.         Assist in identifying data to be cleansed 

.         Manage design and/or revise relevant policies and procedures 

.         Build solutions in Payroll according to M-DCPS business
requirements

Qualifications

.         SAP version ECC 6 implementation experience 

 


.         Minimum of four years SAP HR/Payroll configuration experience 

 


.         Experience with SAP Concurrent Employment required 

 


.         Experience with K-12 or other Public Sector implementation
required 

 


.         Able to configure SAP Payroll tables for Gross Payroll, Net
Payroll, Third-Party Remittance, and Payroll Posting 

 


.         Experience in writing payroll schema rules and reconciling tax
data 

 


.         Experience with BSI, configuring Tax Reporter, and reconciling tax
data 

 


.         Strong experience in designing integrated Payroll processes
(Workers Compensation, Military Leave, and Overpayments etc.) esp. in CE
environment

 


.         Experience with off-cycle process design and configuring Off-Cycle
Workbench 

 


.         Experience with deduction configuration and processing esp.
Benefits integration, Garnishments, and Savings Bonds 

 


.         Experience with SAP Third-Party Remittance and integration with
SAP FI 

 


.         Experience with designing and configuring payroll forms esp. in CE
environment 

 


.         Experience with payroll payment configuration 

 


.         Strong ability and experience with writing detailed payroll
functional and technical specifications 

 


.         Additional skills in other SAP modules a plus
