Position Overview: Utilize latest Java and related technologies and libraries to design and implement highly scalable, clustered, multithreaded applications. Participate in technical scoping discussions with customers to identify system complexity and estimate implementation costs and timeframes. Conduct on-site and remote implementations of technologies, ensuring customer satisfaction. Use C++, Java, J2EE and XML as required in areas of responsibility. Travel to customer worksites is required Exposure to a build tool such as Maven or equivalent Participate in technical scoping discussions with customers to identify system complexity and estimate implementation costs and timeframes Document and define best practices based on technologies and implementations Complete appropriate technical documentation to provide clients with self-sufficient troubleshooting tools Draft functional and technical specification documentation Develop solution based on design documentation Develop integration to other applications Draft and execute test plans Deploy solutions to production environments and provide post deployment support Required Skills : BA in Computer Science or equivalent career/experience degree Significant previous experience with BitRock InstallBuilder, Installer VISE, install4j, IzPack, openInstaller, etc. SOLID Java installation or setup development experience.
