Candidate must have educator grade verbal and written communication skills in order to share enterprise data management vision with all levels of the company. Must have good SQL skills on most major DBMS platforms (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata). Experience in master data hub design to a normalized target data structure is required. Experience with ARTS or other retail data models is a plus. Data access and service design experience is a big plus. Normalized master data management experience, for a large enterprise, retail preferred. This position is responsible for working with clients to create logical and physical data models to support delivery of databases that conform to established and emerging enterprise design standards. The candidate will be required to work with database administrators, application developers, business analysts, and business sponsors to ensure that the design is delivered to specification and standards. Data sourcing, targeting, and transformation efforts will be needed, also.
