Currently we are seeking a dynamic professional to consult in our Technology Services department as a PL/SQL Developer. 2. The position is located at our St. Paul, Minnesota service center. 3. We are currently doing all development in Oracle 10g. 4. Performance tuning is a plus, we are not currently using much of the Analytical functions within Oracle, but if the developer is aware of them, that is sometimes helpful. *Position Requirements:* 1. Develop application solutions 2. Work with Business Analysts and customers to understand and validate end-user requirements in accordance with business need 3. Create and document technical designs to achieve project requirements 4. Complete development/programming as described in design specifications 5. Prepare unit test plans and execute unit testing 6. Participate in system and user acceptance testing tasks as assigned 7. Adhere to Green Tree software development methodology and standards and accepted internal development stand 8. Provide end-user support for assigned applications (includes some on-call support during non-business hours) 9. Modify, enhance and maintain applications as required 10. Maintain integrity of applications, follow standards 11. Investigate and resolve system problems in a timely manner 12. Update system documentation as needed 13. Develop strong relationships with partners and end-users that allow work to move forward with a common understanding 14. Mentor other developers with respect to development best practices and new technologies 15. Excellent problem solving skills Technical Skills 1. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience to substitute for degree 2. Preferred 5 years in related field 3. *IBM-AIX * 4. *Unix scripting* 5. Strong SQL skills; *Oracle PL/SQL stored procedure development* 6. Strong verbal and written skills 7. Strong prioritization and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demands 8. Proven ability to take leadership role on larger tasks 9. Self-starter; able to search for solutions 10.
