This individual will be primarily responsible for building middleware environments and delivering application teams value-add services including products evaluation, *system design, performance tuning, capacity management, and systems integration.* The person will also be responsible for promoting standard IT processes and architectural best practices. *Key Activities: *As a Senior JEE Engineer the candidate will have following responsibilities - Work on the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support of the middleware Infrastructure - Evaluate middleware product's features, upgrades and migration path - Work with platform, operations and application teams to implement middleware infrastructure standards, best practices and guidelines - Conduct Infrastructure configuration tests by developing test plans, scripts and presenting results - Provide technical leadership and mentoring, promoting adherence to standardized IT processes, strategic principles and architectural standards *Job Qualifications* · Strong systems analysis and engineering skills · Strong understanding of middleware technologies and infrastructure management · 5+ years in middleware technologies including *WebLogic(MUST)*, *Tomcat(MUST)*, * Spring framework(MUST),* WebSphere MQ, Oracle UCM(they are moving to this in 2010), SOA and Portal · 3+ years in Java/JEE development Java is the key · UNIX scripting is a strong plus - Shell, Perl, Python, Jython and WLST · Project management skills is a plus - Vendor relationship management and troubleshooting skills are required - Excellent verbal and written communications skills · Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team -- Thanks and Regards..
