You will need to be able to effectively troubleshoot network issues to ensure that appropriate service level agreements are met with both internal and external clients. You will also provide assistance to Technical Services personnel as an escalation point for network related issues. In this role, you will be able to utilize your project management skills to execute on projects as assigned while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously. You will also provide day to day technical support services for the network and telecom infrastructures, including Cisco, HP, and Juniper network equipment. You will need to help establish a monitoring solution and review the existing network to verify optimal configuration. You will also be responsible for upgrading the switch infrastructure from HP Procurve to Cisco Catalyst switches. To be successful in this position, you will also need to maintain and enforce security and integrity policies. You will share the responsibility for the above stated objectives with peers and will be able to rely on the support of a team of knowledgeable experts.
