Title : Websphere Commerce Administrator Location : Austin,TX and Atlanta, GA Duration : Long term contract Job Descreption: *Have 5 plus years of experience on Websphere Commerce Administration *Experience of Installation & Configure Websphere Commerce including Store Setup *Understanding of Systems infrastructure and environment support requirements for Ecommerce Portal team. *Ability to deliver and managing various developments and testing environments for existing systems and new projects. *Understanding of related technologies(including UNIX, windows, network, monitoring, storage, db2) to implement and support the systems and middleware. *Extensive experience supporting the system operations of a large scale, 24x7 application running on a hybrid unix, linux and windows platform *Demonstrated breadth of IT knowledge ranging from Web Middleware, Web *Protocols, Java, eCommerce, Networking, Operating Systems (unix and windows), Server Hardware, Storage, Databases, Performance, Configuration and Change Management, High Availability, Business and Systems Monitoring, and Incident Management *System administration knowledge of Websphere Application Server 5.1, *Websphere Commerce 5.6, IBM HTTP Server, Websphere MQ, and related middleware in a Unix environment. *Highly capable of building tools and scripts to automate and simplify system operations processes in a unix environment using scripting languages or environments such as Korn shell, Perl, etc. *Sufficient understanding of J2EE application packaging and deployment to implement and support scripts that automate the build and deployment process using Ant or similar build tool. *Experience supporting Endeca Search in a Windows / Linux environment will be an added advantage *Perform installation, maintenance and support of system software and user support on small to mid-sized projects. *Perform configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on small to mid-sized projects. *Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. *Perform installation, maintenance and support of hardware and infrastructure on small to mid-sized projects. *Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management. Assist in Project team on roll-out implementation. *Ability to take business requirements and develop functional design and help in technical design. *Ability to work with remote teams *Ability to manage project scope. *Ability to ensure quality of the delivered components. *Onshore / Offshore team management, capacity planning. *Offshore co-ordination for construction and testing of defects/BRs, review and code delivery.
