Location: MA Duration: 6months Job Description: This position is responsible for the design and development of embedded platform management software to support the deployment of IPTV hardware in a carrier-grade environment. This engineer will work as a member of a platform development team operating in an embedded Linux environment running on an ATCA chassis. Responsibilities: Experience delivering production software applications including developing, testing and delivery of deployable implementations A strong knowledge of real time embedded software Designing and implementing database architecture, interfaces and schema Developing and deploying a Command Line Interface, SNMP Agent, and web-based management interface Strong self-starter Good written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work with remote development teams Strong troubleshooting skills Requirements: BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science 5+ years development experience in embedded management agent development. Must have a working knowledge of SNMP and experience writing and deploying SNMP MIBs Fluency in C with strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
