Title: Software Testing Quality Analyst / Business Analyst Location: Melrose Park, IL Duration: 4 months RESPONSIBILITIES: As software Quality Analyst - Plan, develop, track, and implement the testing phase of software development life cycle. Develop test cases, test plans, coordinate testing with users, and track defects and resolutions for the project team. As an occasional BA - Develop, at all levels of complexity, specifications for applications, systems and services efforts. Ensure high-quality, proper, and consistent documentation of solution requirements. Excellent understanding and familiarity of technical environment. Give direction and provide Leadership for other BA team members. Estimate, commit, and deliver on project deliverables REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelors Degree and 8+ years experience in software testing, software development BA, and leadership roles. MUST HAVE LEAD EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOM PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE TESTING. Software testing (QA), BA, and Project Lead experience for custom developed Product Lifecycle Management software development and deployment. Experience utilizing software testing methods and tracking tools. Experience utilizing software development methodologies and templates (e.g. requirements, Use Cases, Design Documents). Experience in managing business change, conducting and developing end user training, establishing adoption metrics, developing rollout plans. Lead the planning, prioritization, and implementation of application software testing including the assignment and tracking of tasks. Provide leadership of analytic and problem solving skills by synthesizing data, recommending solutions, and/or guiding the implementation of solutions. DESIRED SKILLS: Teamcenter experience is a plus. Software QA experience, functional Engineering experience, or BA experience in an automotive or heavy industrial environment is preferred. Strategy development experience is nice to have - business strategy to development/documentation of IT strategy. Previous Navistar experience is a plus.
