Additional skill-sets: - oracle experience - SQL exp - Oracle and SQL instalatuib - Must have worked in a supporting production and development environment - Performance and tuning – Creating solutions - A Regular Back - Applying database patches - Has exposure in cloning - Third party products or vendor products - Window server – shared environment for SQL and oracle - Should have offshore-onsite managing experience Candidate needs to have 5-7+ yrs of DBA experience Should have supported large environment - Because the Client is a very large environment 1000 of database servers (this is a very important qualifying factor for them!) Candidate has worked on production support environment - Good at troubleshooting skills (If we get L2/3 resource this would be ideal), having exposure to onshore and offshore support is a plus Candidate should be aware of basis production support methodologies - like how tickets get assigned, what they do to get the work done, what happens if there is a leave taken by a team member, proving time based support Unix scripting is a real plus - There are cases where they might need to write scripts to automate Communication - should be good.
