Position: Oracle Developer with C#, WinForms Experience
Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 12 Months Rate: $40-45/Hr Client: Constellation Energy Responsibilities: * IT Developers write code or parameters to provide software components according to technical specifications. * They actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service problems to limit downtime and resolve problems. * They recognize and solve inconsistencies in the detailed technical specifications and propose changes. Requirements: * A senior experience level is defined as either having 10+ years in the IT space or 5+ years in the specific technology they are contracted for. * Resources at this level would be expected to be able to take on both though leadership and team leadership roles and could work with little direction. Technical Skills * Candidate will have hands-on experience with C# 3.0; WCF, WinForm Development, Database Development in Oracle 10g or higher, specifically creation of Tables, Procedures, and Triggers (SQL) Communication Skills * Candidate will be able to communication effectively, both verbally and written, with both customers and colleagues. Candidate will have demonstrable experience reviewing requirements, gathering feedback, and offering alternative solutions to problems in a clear and concise manner. Interpersonal Skills * Candidate will have worked in a team structure before, able to perform the multiple roles required within this position, including development, testing, and documentation. * Candidate will be able to provide timely feedback to the project manager and work in a transparent manner. * Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using WPF, SSAS, and MDX. * Additionally, candidate will have recent experience in either the energy industry or financial derivatives market.
