Business Systems Analyst with a Development Background
BA with .Net development background Silver Spring, MD 6 months Bachelors and 6+ years experience. Lead complex business and system requirements gathering sessions. Understand business process and identify business needs and communicate the costs and benefits of implementing the reeingeering solution. Work with other IT subject matter experts to address system, hardware and system needs. Devise and document a general system design based on the client's anticipated requirements, develop test cases and negotiate options with the client. Focuses on gathering and documenting business and functional requirements. Perform requirements analysis and use-case development from a wide range of users for the Head Start Systems. Assist with use case development. Must be knowledgeable in life-cycle support, including gathering requirements from business users, documenting requirements, assisting with the translation of business requirements to functional requirements, writing use cases and test cases, as needed. 1. Coordinate meetings and walk-throughs with Business Users to facilitate requirements gathering. 2. Participate in Process Improvement groups and Team meetings. 3. Document requirements using SDM Templates. Participate in discussion sessions, with clients and fellow coworkers to refine the requirements. Participate in producing project documentation. Ability to write clear business requirements (sample of previous work preferred) 4. 8 years of experience 5. Prior experience as an application developer; ideally technical team lead experience.
