requirement for a Tivoli Designer/Developer - Chicago, IL
Duration:5 months+

Job Description:
Understand the end to end process from submission through the reporting
tier
Design the Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) encompassing all DataStage,
Java, Unix scripts and possibly Information Analyzer object
Design the end-to-end process to be meta data driven across validation,
atomic enhanced and the star schema including dependencies between jobs,
managing resource consumption and the ability to execute jobs based on
assigned weights of jobs (predetermined by a jobs volume of data and
consumption of resources) used to increase parallelism across the entire
process
Leverage existing Tivoli and Unix experience to design the operations
schedule (Tivoli triggers jobs developed in DataStage, Java, Cognos, Unix
scripts, and Information Analyzer)
Participate in string testing and system integration testing of
development projects as a fixer
Assist with Operations as needed
Mentor other members of the team on how to code Tivoli jobs and Unix
scripts
Document the use cases for what the job flow needs to support
Develop the TWS job flow diagram complete and accurate
Develop innovative and flexible TWS design specifications for each tier
Develop Tivoli program specifications working with the project teams

Assist in keeping the TWS job flow diagram complete and accurate
